Synopsis
Jayam (English: Victory) is a 2002 film in Telugu by Teja on the Chitram Movies lineup. With Nithiin, Sadha, and Gopichand in the leading roles and music composed by R. P. Patnaik. The film registered as a Super Hit at the box office. It was a remake by Mr. Raja in Tamil with the same title and nicknamed in Hindi Phir Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet.
Jayam’s Story
Jayam is a romance-based film in which Sujatha’s son Raghu is children. Sujatha is Raghu’s sister-in-law. They are still fighting with each other. Sujatha and Raghu’s parents decide they should get married when they grow up. Sujatha’s father moves his house to town to take care of his business. Sujatha and Raghu promise to never see each other again after a bitter argument. All of this happened when they were only 7-8 years old. Sujatha (Sadha) is a college student and goes to the university by train. There she meets a student, Venkat (Nitin), who is studying in the same class. Venkat is the son of a poor widower. When Sujatha’s parents find out, they stop Sujatha’s studies, arrange her engagement with Raghu, and meet with Raghu, who is her brother-in-law (Bava). Raghu learns of his relationship with Venkat. However, he does not care because she is a lovely girl. The rest of the film is about how Venkat earns his love.
