Synopsis:
Rishi (Mahesh Babu) is a billionaire and CEO of Origins who has always strived for success. His friend Ravi (Allari Naresh) needs help; how will he manage?

Story Line
- Rishi (Mahesh Babu) climbed the corporate ladder hard and fast until he became the CEO of Origins. He always dreamed of being successful and not like his father (Prakash Raj), whom he considers a failure. So much so that his fear of his inability pushes him to do better than he wants. But he soon discovers that it is his friend from his university Ravi (Allari Naresh), to whom he owes his success. Looking for his old friend in Ramavaram, Rishi wants to do more than just paying off a debt that he owes.
- Maharshi is a film that, while commercially entertaining, is difficult to describe. One moment you see a man take over as CEO, and the other, you laugh with three friends who are stupid in college. In the third moment, you find yourself being pushed, just like Rishi, into something much bigger than you expected, something much bigger than him, no matter how important it is. While Vamshi Paidipally manages to tell the story of a man who worked to get humiliated by something as simple as farmland in most of him, he, unfortunately, fills him with commercial charges that turn out to be inconvenient.
- Mahesh Babu gives an extraordinary performance as Rishi, slipping as quickly into the role of a student as he is a man who wants to fight until he gets what he wants. Allari Naresh shines as Ravi, who goes from being one with the pack to someone who realizes his strengths. While Pooja Hegde gives an honest performance as Pooja, who is always skeptical of Rishi, his character only seems to check the girlfriend box.
